I like the meditative aspect of buddhism
I think that buddhism has brought a lot into the field of therapy (there are many mindfulness based approaches) and personal philosophy. I also think that meditation is really beneficial for emotional self improvement. Personally I feel indifferent about the ritualistic aspects of buddhism, maybe because I have inferior (at the time of writing this) knowledge of them and maybe because I feel that rituals and ceremonies always have the potential to become meaningless, being executed mechanically. My favorite buddhist philosopher is Adyashanti. I like his view on meditation. I also enjoy the teaching of Alan Watts, Personally I think that the popular writer Osho (who's not buddhist but is often associated) sexualizes the topic a bit to much
